It all began with Trump ordering a map redraw in Texas to help the GOP pick up five House seats.

The extreme racial gerrymander was signed into law despite Republicans already holding 25 of the 38 congressional seats in Texas.

Missouri’s governor signed a new map into law that will give the GOP an additional seat. If upheld, Republicans will hold seven of the state’s eight congressional districts.

Utah Republicans advanced a map that would shore up control of all of the state’s congressional seats — despite a district court ruling that struck down the state’s gerrymandered map.

Now, Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, Florida, Nebraska, and Kansas are all considering new maps before the midterm elections to give Trump his wish to ensure victory in the midterms, despite how Americans vote.

This is a nationwide threat to fair representation.

The NDRC and the fair maps movement are fighting back on all fronts — and in all these states — using every tool in our toolbox. But we need strong grassroots support to keep up this critical work. Rush a donation to fuel this fight today. [[link removed]]
