Hi friend,
I want to tell you about Christine.
She’s a precinct chair in Marble Falls — a small Texas town with big democratic (and Democratic) energy. And yesterday, she hosted her very first meet-and-greet at her home 🥳.
She called it a success. I call it the future of Texas organizing.
Check out everything Christine has already accomplished:
* Identified 74 strong Democrats in her precinct
*
* Knocked 34 doors
*
* Texted and called 20 neighbors as a reminder
*
* Got 17 RSVPs to important organizing events
*
* Welcomed 10 attendees into her living room for collaboration and conversation
*
* Met 5 brand-new Democrats she didn’t even know lived nearby
They talked about the stakes. They made plans. One woman — who had never participated in politics before — stayed late just to say, “I want to canvass with you.”
This is what a damn good day in the life of a Texas organizer looks like.
Christine is one of dozens of local leaders stepping up, building power, and bringing people together across the state. Some are longtime precinct chairs. Others are brand new. Some live in cities, others in counties where Democrats have never had a foothold.
They all have one thing in common: they’re ready to do the work. They, like you, understand how important it is for us to FLIP THE DAMN HOUSE — otherwise we’ll never have the levers of power we need to make life better and safer for Texans.
We’re training regular folks, just like you. We’re supporting and watching our organizers inspire their communities — one conversation, one front porch, one potluck at a time.

P.S. We are always looking for more organizers, so I wanted to also send around our volunteer page. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just getting started, we’ll help you find your place in this work. Thanks for being in this with us. [[link removed]]
We are the Texas Dems. We're protecting Texans from Republican extremists and their unending stream of misinformation statewide. Let's be clear, Texas Republicans have drawn district lines to choose the voters they want, and D.C. Republicans have poured tens of millions of dollars in dark money into Texas. We are on the front lines of pushing back against their influence with voters.
Taking Texas back from extremist Republicans is going to take all of us. Will you chip in now to help us elect Democrats who will work hard to represent all Texans, and not just the wealthy few? [[link removed]]
