Our voices are being stripped away from politicians who would rather rig the rules in their favor than hold fair and free elections.

Hello,

In case you missed it: Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe just signed a new congressional map into law, adding one more Republican-leaning House seat to the state.

With Republican lawmakers holding supermajorities in both chambers, there aren’t many checks and balances in the state legislature for the opposing party to challenge this effort.

Gerrymandering is a form of voter suppression — no matter what party is in power. The rise in extreme partisanship will only worsen over time if we continue this dangerous path toward a one-party rule in each state.

Our voices are being stripped away from politicians who would rather rig the rules in their favor than hold fair and free elections.

That’s why we’re committed to electing the next generation of voting rights champions ready to fight voter suppression. Will you support our year-round work to protect our democracy by contributing any amount today?

— Voting Rights Fund

Voting Rights Fund wasn’t created just to defend voting rights — we elect the leaders who will expand and protect them. Our aim is to keep our operational costs as low as possible so a majority of our funds go toward doing the work that needs to be done. That means building a national bench of lawmakers who will fight tooth and nail to expand access to the ballot box and protect our right to vote at every level of government.
