We have exciting news! Last night we kicked off our campaign at Midtown Barber Shop where I worked my first job as a teen sweeping floors. I announced in front of friends, family and hundreds of supporters that I am officially running to be D.C.’s next Delegate to Congress! 

We also received our first endorsement of the campaign from fellow Councilmember Janeese Lewis George. I am honored to have earned her support, and I know it will take all of us working together to win this election. 

This first fundraising deadline will be the most important in this election, and I need each and every one of my supporters to chip in. Can you be a Day 1 supporter by chipping in $5, $25 or whatever you can to win this election?
