Oct. 17 release party for Little Salty hard cider

You're invited to a release party for Little Salty, a limited-edition hard cider benefiting Nebraska wildlife conservation and education.
This salty-and-sweet apricot cider is the second in a collaboration with Glacial Till Vineyard. It celebrates the Salt Creek tiger beetle, a small insect that is a big deal in Nebraska's rare saline wetlands.

Commissioners to consider sportfishing orders
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will consider amendments to sportfishing orders when it meets Oct. 10 at Niobrara State Park. These orders regard daily bag limits, possession limits and open areas.
A variety of other topics are on the agenda, including proposed wildlife amendments and multi-year plans created by Game and Parks. The meeting is open to the public and will held in the Eagle View Group Lodge at the park.
