Half a million messages of HOPE

Hi John,

The response has been amazing. From Moray at the top of Scotland to Lewes down on the South East coast, thousands have signed up to be part of our Weekend of HOPE.

And it just goes to show - good people are ready to stand up and be counted.

I’m about to place a huge order at the printers for more than half a million leaflets, making this one of the biggest campaigns HOPE not hate has ever run.

These leaflets matter. They challenge the narratives of the likes of Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage, who want to talk down communities, relying on pessimism and fear to fuel their hateful agenda.

Instead, on 18th and 19th October we’ll be sending messages of HOPE through letterboxes across the UK and turning that story on its head.

But John, all of this has come at a huge cost. From printing half a million leaflets, to posting them out to our network of activists, even bringing on extra staff to respond to the huge amount of interest.

This Weekend of HOPE is vital. The far-right have been making in-roads in communities across the UK, sowing hate and division and pitting neighbour against neighbour.
