Hi John, I want to live in a world where I can walk outside with family and friends and know that the air is safe to breathe. I want to grab a drink of tap water from my kitchen and not question if it’s safe to drink. Seems like a basic thing to ask for, doesn’t it? Don’t we deserve that? Unfortunately, over the past several months, the President has directed the EPA and other agencies to throw out critical environmental protections so his billionaire Big Oil and Gas buddies can rake in even more money at the expense of our health and safety. There’s a lot happening in our country that can make it feel like the future is out of our hands. But our actions ripple out and do create change. Even little actions - like helping a neighbor - can change how we live. At Earthworks we’ve seen what’s possible when we come together. Just recently in Louisiana, communities stood up to stop a $4.5 billion blue hydrogen project that would have added more pollution to their air and water. What action, no matter how big or small, gives you hope?
