Acceptable Identification – Final Rules Adopted – Effective Nov. 8, 2025
On Oct. 8, 2025, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following action:
The Board adopted final rules (CR 103) to amend WAC 314-11-025 and WAC 314-55-150. The changes include the additions of the federal Global Entry card and federal Permanent Resident card (or “Green Card”) as acceptable forms of identification for cannabis and alcohol customers.
Hours of Operations – Final Rules Adopted – Effective Oct. 11, 2025
At the Sept. 10, 2025 Board meeting, the Board adopted final rules (CR 103) to amend WAC 314-02-045 to reduce the days per week that beer and wine restaurant licensees must be open to the public to maintain their alcohol licenses. The change reduced the requirement from three days to two days per week.
Updated Draft Rules - Expanded Alcohol Service Areas
