There’s a pretty obvious reason why Donald Trump wants me out of Congress: I don’t fit his mold of what a “Kansas politician” should look like.

And he’s right. I do stand out in Washington — and I’m proud of it. I’m the first LGBTQ+ Native American woman ever elected to Congress. I was raised by a single Army mom, paid my own way through college, and even had a career as an MMA fighter before I ran for elected office.

Maybe that background doesn’t make me a “typical” politician. But I think that’s a good thing.

But Donald Trump disagrees. Instead, he wants to end all competitive Congressional elections in Kansas and install a hand-picked, far-right extremist in my place.

Kansas Republicans know they can’t win my district unless they cheat, so they’re trying to stack the deck and pray that we won’t notice. That’s why I need your help.
