I have a humble request to make today.

Roy Cooper for North Carolina

John, I have spent my working life trying to make people’s lives better, and it has been more than worth it. Now, I am running for the U.S. Senate to continue that work, but our toss-up race is getting closer by the day, and I need your help to win. Chip in today to say you’re with me.

I’m proud of what we have achieved together: expanding Medicaid. Getting raises for public school teachers. Investing in our clean energy economy.

The trust that North Carolinians have placed in me has meant so much. It gave me the opportunity to serve my home and allowed us to make real progress.

I didn’t plan to go to Washington, but I got in this race for the U.S. Senate because that progress is on the line, along with so much more. For our state and for all Americans.

I will not sit by and watch while extreme politicians tear away the rights that so many fought for so long to secure. I will do everything in my power to protect our country. I know that this is the work of a lifetime.

And it is work that I cannot do alone, so I’m humbly asking you to stand with me.

John, I am asking you to invest in our work by contributing today. National Republicans are rallying around my far-right opponent to try to defeat me, and I can’t overcome them alone. We can’t let Michael Whatley gain any more ground.

I know that we can win together, just like we have before.

Gratefully,
Roy Cooper

Roy Cooper, former Governor of North Carolina
