ACTION SERIES EVENT:ESPINOZA: IMPLICATIONS AND WHAT'S NEXT?

The nation’s attention was riveted by a decision in the most important education case in decades. On Tuesday, June 30th, the U.S. Supreme Court, in Espinoza vs Montana Department of Revenue, decided in favor of the constitutionality of a program that permits parents to direct the education of their children, and against a history of bigotry of religious education that took root in state constitutions following the first waves of Catholic immigration in the 1870s.

While the monumental decision is being parsed by legal analysts, policy makers and the entire education cartel, we invite you to join us for a post-decision analysis with former Solicitor General and author of CER’s Amicus Brief [[link removed]], the Honorable Paul Clement [[link removed]], currently a partner at Kirkland and Ellis, along with his associate attorney in the case, George Hicks [[link removed]].

The discussion will provide guidance about how this extraordinary victory for student parental control and equality in educational opportunity is the catalyst to be able to remove Blaine amendments from 37 state constitutions and end 144 years of bigotry.

Join us on Tuesday, July 7th at 11:00 am
