Friend,

Last fall, fellow Tennessean Damaris Magruder gave John a hand-knit American flag blanket that her mother made to give to President Donald J. Trump.

Being the public servant that he is, John made it his mission to ensure President Trump received this amazing blanket—and he did!

Just a few weeks ago, Damaris’ mother received a letter from President Trump thanking her for the wonderful gift.

If there are two things to gather from this story, it is: 

1. Damaris’ mother makes an awesome knitted blanket.
2. John is a man of the people who will go out of his way to help them.

Whether it's delivering a gift to the president or fighting for lower taxes, John will do whatever it takes to be the best public servant he can be.

Anyone can make a promise, but John is someone we can trust to keep those promises.

That is the type of leadership we need for all Tennesseans.

Let’s get him there!
