Hi John,
The shutdown continues, and there’s no telling when it will end.
The military is scheduled to stop being paid on October 15th, and thousands of other federal workers have already been furloughed.
Already-strapped area food banks are bracing for an influx of people who will need more assistance as the shutdown continues.
If Bill Huizenga and Congressional Republicans won’t do their jobs and end the shutdown, then it’s on us to take care of our communities.
