Today is DAF Day!

This is a special day focused on mobilizing donor-advised fund (DAF) support to maximize impact for the causes you care about—like the Entertainment Community Fund.

DAFs offer many benefits, including an immediate tax deduction, tax-free investment growth and the ability to avoid capital gains taxes as your account appreciates. But as you may know, a donor-advised fund is more than just a financial tool, it's also a powerful way to live your values.

That’s why I want to encourage you to initiate a DAF grant to support the Entertainment Community Fund’s critical mission today.

The beauty of DAF giving also lies in its ability to bridge spontaneous generosity with thoughtful, long-term support. You can even build your charitable impact over time, making contributions that fit your budget while still creating meaningful change!

By recommending a grant to the Fund through your DAF, you're taking intentional action to provide a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.

However, because some sponsoring organizations don’t share donor information, we may not always know who to thank. If you’d like us to be able to acknowledge your generosity, please let us know when recommending your grant!

Together, we can make sure that those working on stage, on screen and behind the scenes don’t have to go through hard times alone. Please initiate a DAF gift today.
