No Kings is less than two weeks away. This will be a critical opportunity to invite millions of Americans who are watching our nation plunge into authoritarianism to collectively gather peacefully in the streets and show once again where the real power lies—with the people.
The D.C. action is the national anchor event—and among the most important. And to make it a success, we really need volunteers to help to make it powerful, safe, and unforgettable.
Will you sign up to be a volunteer at the Washington, D.C., No Kings event on October 18? Your support will help us pull off the largest peaceful mobilization to defend our democracy yet!
When you sign up, you can indicate which roles you are interested in supporting and what activities you have experience with, but no past event volunteer experience is needed. From marshals to set-up and breakdown, water and art distribution to volunteer check-in, we are the ones that will make this day come together.
If you’re new to volunteering or want more info before signing up, there will be opportunities to get trained next week to ensure you have all the information you need to feel confident on the day of, including an overview of the D.C. action, what ways there are to help, and how to sign up.
This No Kings action is set to be even larger than the first, which was already a historic event. As the Trump administration continues to weaponize the federal government, abuse power, erode our rights, and compromise our well-being, more and more people are becoming fed up. No Kings will bring together the masses, including people who are joining us for the first time, to demonstrate broad opposition to Trump’s extreme agenda that threatens us all.
