This is crazy, John. 

Despite having control of all three branches of government, MAGA Republicans have shut down the government.

As Mike Johnson himself admits, this means they are quite literally taking food out of the mouths of infants, women and children — all because they REFUSE to even negotiate a bipartisan deal. 

This is personal to me. As a child, I relied on food assistance to eat when my family faced hard times. I’ve spent my life fighting to protect these essential programs. 

Look John, Democrats are standing strong against Republicans's attacks on our healthcare.

But Donald Trump and his MAGA majorities in the House and Senate have proven over and over again that they simply cannot be trusted to protect the American people. They’ve spent MONTHS going after essential programs and trying to ram through their cruel agenda.  

That’s why, in 2026, we need a STRONG Democratic Majority to stand up to Trump and give Democrats the power to stand up for the American people.
