In the book of Acts, we see how the church of Jesus Christ was birthed and then grew explosively despite the hostility they faced as Christians. The power of Jesus Christ continued to prove unstoppable in the centuries that followed. It’s the same power that Jesus alluded to when He said, “Upon this rock, I shall build my church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” That power sustained the early Christians in the face of opposition, and it is still available to us today.

The last word in the last chapter of the book of Acts is “unhindered,” from a Greek word that can also be translated as “unstoppable.” The early church continued to preach the gospel despite facing opposition, and their unwavering faith in Jesus Christ allowed them to become unstoppable.
