Less than a month until the November 4th Election. Take action today!
Demócratas,
The California Democratic Party’s VOTA Program is working hard to connect with Latino voters across the state—we’re hosting bilingual phone banks twice a week, knocking on doors statewide, and partnering with community leaders to get the word out about YES on Prop 50.
And, the reality is - there’s still work to be done. A recent survey found that more than half of the Latino voters in California who were polled were not aware of the special election on November 4th. That means thousands of Latino voices could go unheard because they don't have the information needed to cast their votes.
The great news: we can change all this.
Join us next Wednesday, October 15th, at 6PM for Cafecito Prop 50, a conversation about how this election will impact our community and how we can motivate our friends and family to vote. At the end, we’ll talk about our voter protection efforts and have a “vote party” where you can spend time filling out your ballot! Grab your coffee, invite a friend, and join the conversation.
Ready to take the next step? Through the California Democratic Party'sVOTA Program, we are leading the charge to engage Latino voters. Here’s how you can take action with VOTA:
In addition to getting out the vote, we’re also protecting it. Our Voter Protection Teamworks to ensure every vote is counted and every voter can cast their ballot freely and fairly. We urgently need volunteer poll observers and attorneys to help defend every Californian’s right to vote. Join our Voter Protection Team today!
Our community depends on us showing up. Let’s make sure every Latino voter is heard on November 4th.
Gracias, Andrea Guzman & VOTA Team
