Hey there, it’s Mikie Sherrill, Democratic nominee for Governor of New Jersey. I just stepped off the debate stage, and I wanted to reach out to you personally.

First of all, I want to say thank you. My team and I would have never made it this far without grassroots supporters like you. If you haven’t already, will you endorse me in my campaign for governor, John?

And second, I want to say that I hope I made you proud tonight.

This was the final debate of my campaign, and with less than a month until Election Day, we’re gonna need all hands on deck in order to win this. This is an absolute nailbiter of a race. Poll after poll shows me in a dead heat with my opponent Jack Ciattarelli, and you know by now that New Jersey is a battleground state.

Tonight, the divide between my opponent and me is clearer than ever.

I’m fighting to make daily life more affordable by lowering costs for housing, energy, groceries, health care, and more.

I’m fighting to stand up for our freedoms, even when Donald Trump tries to trample the rule of law.

I’m fighting for a better quality of life for New Jersey families and a brighter future for our kids by improving access to high-quality health care and childcare.

Above all, I’m fighting for New Jersey because I love this state – and I promise to be a governor who stands up for our state, not one who bends the knee.

Meanwhile, my opponent wants to bring the worst parts of Donald Trump’s agenda to New Jersey.

My opponent falsely smeared me, my service record, and my family – and his team took advantage of Trump's weaponization of the federal government after the administration illegally released my unredacted military records to allies of his campaign.

My opponent wants a statewide abortion ban and is promising cuts to Planned Parenthood.

My opponent will be a MAGA rubber stamp who intends to do to New Jersey exactly what Trump is doing to the country – but I refuse to let that happen.

But with less than a month to go, I need a strong grassroots coalition to help get over the finish line. The stakes are too high for New Jersey – and for the entire country – to sit by in this crucial moment, team.

So if you believe in what I’m fighting for and you’re ready to join the fight too, then I’m humbly asking you for your endorsement for my campaign. Please John, will you endorse my campaign before midnight? I’m hoping to get 10,000 new endorsements to hit my post-debate goal.
