Now, Trump is asking the conservative-majority Supreme Court to decide once and for all the constitutionality of his order.
If they rule in his favor, it would dismantle protections enshrined in the Constitution, overturn more than a century of legal precedent, and create a class of stateless children stripped of their rights.
