We are over a week into this GOP shutdown, and the GOP is still refusing to come to the table and debate with my colleagues and me.

We are already seeing flight delays and staffing shortages in air traffic control. Benefits funding, such as WIC, is being threatened, and thousands of workers have been furloughed. 

Now, the Trump Administration is saying it might not provide back pay to the federal workers they are responsible for furloughing.

The GOP has control over the House, Senate, and White House—yet they still think they can blame this shutdown on us. 

Our government is in chaos, and the GOP still won’t commit to extending Affordable Care Act subsidies and reopening the government.

I’m dedicated to extending healthcare subsidies, reopening the government, and getting back to work. But Speaker Johnson won’t reconvene the House. 

Can you chip in to my re-election campaign so I can continue pushing back against the GOP and end this shutdown?
