Speak out against this dangerous proposal, friend

Trump’s EPA wants to eliminate the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program—a vital tool that helps tackle climate pollution by collecting data on how much companies are currently emitting.

TAKE ACTION ([link removed])

Hi Friend,

As the government shutdown continues to drag on, more and more of us are going to feel the impact: from higher bills and dirtier air to cuts to food assistance and other essential services that families depend on.

And make no mistake, this is all part of Trump’s larger scheme to destroy every part of the federal government that doesn’t directly enrich him and his cronies.

The latest proposal from Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is just another way to hurt working Americans while shielding polluters from any responsibility.

That’s because Trump’s EPA is proposing to end the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP)—a vital system that tracks climate pollution from the United States’ biggest emitters.

Without it, we’ll lose a critical tool for tracking progress on climate, holding major polluters accountable, and making data-informed decisions to protect public health.

EPA is accepting public comments on this proposal until November 3, and we’ve put one together calling on them NOT to repeal the GHGRP. Will you sign on in support? ([link removed])

ADD YOUR NAME ([link removed])

Closing down the GHGRP would severely limit access to unbiased information on pollution in communities across the country—a move that advances the Trump administration’s imperative, backed by the oil and gas industry, to undermine any attempts to combat the climate crisis.

It’s erasing data and accountability.

As we continue to see more record-breaking heat waves, unpredictable storms, and destructive wildfires, the public has a right to know how much dangerous, planet-warming pollution is being emitted by large industries. Add your name to our public comment now! ([link removed])
