In just a few weeks, California voters will go to the polls — and new congressional maps will soon be finalized. Once those maps are approved, we need to be ready to hit the ground running immediately.
Here’s the truth: The redistricting process will reshape California’s political landscape. My district will look very different — and I will soon be in one of the toughest districts in California. It will contain more Republicans and be more competitive than before, with the GOP already eyeing it as one of their best chances to flip a seat in California.
That’s why I’m asking for your help now — before the new maps are even finalized.
We need to build a war chest strong enough to compete the second the new district lines drop.
