Our work to keep moving Arizona forward has only just begun, and the stakes in this race are sky-high.

Kris Mayes for Arizona

Katie Hobbs

John, I wanted you to hear it from me first:

I’m officially running for re-election as governor of Arizona.

If you’re with me, will you split a donation between me and Kris Mayes and become a Founding Donor of my re-election campaign? Political experts agree that this race is going to be a pure toss-up, and that means we can’t win this without you.

I don’t have the story of a typical politician, John.

I grew up in a working-class family in the heart of Tempe. When my dad was between jobs, my family relied on our church community and food stamps to get by.

I got my first job at 16, working at Burger King and then Pizza Hut to put myself through high school and college. My husband and I raised our kids through the Great Recession, experienced a home foreclosure, and we’re still paying off our student loans.

Even after I was elected to public office, I took a second job driving for Uber to make sure my kids had Christmas presents.

So when I say this work is personal to me, I mean it. I know deeply what it’s like to do whatever it takes to provide for your family.

As governor, I’ve always pledged to fight just as hard every day for your family as I fought for mine – and that’s what I promise to keep doing when re-elected.

Over the last three years, we’ve cut taxes for middle-class families, small businesses, and veterans. We lowered childcare costs so working parents aren’t saddled with yet another expense. We erased medical debt for more than 350,000 Arizonans.

But all our progress is on the line in this race.

Donald Trump and National Republicans have made the Arizona governor’s race one of their top targets to flip red in 2026, and they’re prepared to spend whatever it takes to do it. It’s why political experts at the Cook Political Report, Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball, and Inside Elections have already called this race a pure toss-up.

Unlike my THREE GOP opponents, I don’t have a vast personal fortune or far-right billionaires on speed dial. I have something far better: You.

So please: Split a donation between me and Kris Mayes and become a Founding Donor of my re-election campaign today. We won by less than 1% in 2022, and if we’re going to win one of the most competitive races in the country and keep moving Arizona forward, it’s going to take all of us.
