Climate Action Planning - Looking Beyond Carbon Neutraliy and Resilience on
October 15th at 6 PM Central will outline and summarize the aspects of climate action plans (CAP), the breadth and depth of the CAP's, the policies covered and ways the best developed CAPs are successful. The webinar will go beyond the traditional aspects of climate planning and discuss the various facets often left out such as, development of municipal infrastructure and the means of financing these aspects of city functioning.
Speaker Bio: Dr. Adrienne Greve is a Professor in the City & Regional Planning Department at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA. Her research focuses on climate change and the planning response to it from greenhouse gas reduction to climate adaptation and climate-exacerbated hazards planning.
