This Friday

Hi John,

One dime at a time. That’s how I’m funding this campaign.

I need to raise $10,169.73 for our Postcard Fund by Friday, so we can send postcards to voters across the district before voting starts. Each postcard costs a dime, including postage. Can you give $3 now to buy us 30 postcards?

Unlike my opponent Rep. Derek Kilmer, I’m not sitting on millions in corporate cash. Also unlike him:

  • I will never join with Republicans to sign a letter calling for Social Security cuts.

  • I will never vote against demilitarizing the police. (H.Amdt.918 to H.R.4870)

  • I will never vote to extend the Patriot Act.

  • I will never vote for bad trade deals that harm our workers.

  • I will never take money from the real estate lobby, opioid industry, or corporate PACs—the very forces that are causing poverty and pain across District 6.

Instead, I will fight to protect and EXPAND Social Security.

I will fight to demilitarize the police and to reallocate funding from the police to social services.

I’ll fight for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, a housing guarantee, free public college and trade school, and a jobs guarantee.

My vision is for a society where everyone has a good job, health care, education, retirement, and a home. I don’t think this is so much to ask.

And if we can afford to bail out corporations, we can afford to help regular working people.

Please rush a $3 donation now, so we can afford to buy postcards this Friday:

We have seniors in our district living on $750 a month. They can’t afford flip-flopping on Social Security, because they can’t flip-flop on paying their electric bill.

Thank you for helping me win, so I can fight for Social Security in Congress.
