John, A federal judge has blocked President Trump’s attempt to send military troops into Portland — twice! But he’s not done attacking our state, so my work’s not done either. I’ll continue to stand up to his administration and protect Oregon values. Will you stand with me in this fight today?
Trump’s attacks on Portland, as well as similar ones in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., are unwarranted and unlawful, John. We cannot normalize these escalating attempts to use the military to occupy our cities. There is no need for military intervention in Oregon. The biggest threat to our public safety and our democracy is Donald Trump himself. I am committed to speaking out, standing with the people of Oregon, and solving the real problems facing our state.
