A TRUMP-APPOINTED Judge just ruled that Trump has no authority to send the National Guard into Portland.
Hear me loud and clear: This is a major win not only for the people of Oregon but for the rule of law.
It affirms what we have always known — that there is no basis for the Trump Administration to federalize the National Guard.
But: The ruling is not final — and our work to fight back against Trump’s authoritarianism and his assault on our state for even a moment cannot stop here.
