Jack has spent the two weeks since he and Mikie last met on the debate stage relentlessly attempting to smear her character. His campaign even shopped around Mikie's illegally released, unredacted military records — including her Social Security number and private information about her family.

So we know what we can expect tonight:

We can expect Jack to lie about Mikie’s record of service to our nation — like he and his right-wing allies have done these last few weeks.

We can expect him to try to run away from his record of talking about massive tax increases on hardworking New Jersey families — despite his own running mate saying just last week that new taxes were on the table for everyone except millionaires.

And we can expect him to try to persuade New Jerseyans that Trump’s disastrous policies are good for our state — despite all the evidence of our eyes and ears and pocketbooks.

Mikie isn’t going to let him get away with it. Tonight, she’s going to make the case to New Jersey families just how dangerous it would be to have a governor whose top priority is blind loyalty to Trump. And she’s going to outline her vision for a better path forward — one that puts New Jersey FIRST, protects our freedoms, and focuses on driving down costs for New Jersey families.

Tonight’s debate is one of the most consequential moments for the outcome of this race.
