President Trump and Congressional Republicans have shut the government down to drive up the cost of living and wreak havoc across the healthcare system – kicking millions of hardworking Americans off their insurance, more than doubling insurance premiums for millions more, and shutting down rural hospitals and community health clinics.

If Republicans refuse to negotiate a bipartisan budget that serves working people, millions of Americans will see soaring healthcare costs or lose their coverage entirely. Unless Republicans extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits:

• More than 22 million Americans will see soaring healthcare costs;
• Forcing more than 4 million Americans to be uninsured within a year;
• ACA enrollees will see their out-of-pocket premiums surge by thousands of dollars, more than 114% on average, or over $1,000 per year.
