Defend Our Courts has been sounding the alarm for months about the outsized implications of losing this November 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention race. 

The consequences of failure here are nothing short of handing MAGA the keys to the nation’s most important swing state ahead of next year’s midterm election and, ultimately, the 2028 presidential election.

Donald Trump has strategically unleashed wave after wave of fascist brutality — illegally occupying our cities and endorsing reprehensible acts of thuggery, violence, and intimidation aimed at American citizens. 

He even suggested invoking a law from 1807 called the “Insurrection Act” to provide a shaky legal basis for suspending civil liberties and deploying the U.S. military on American soil against the American people.

Trump has been systematically priming the public to accept a broader crackdown in the name of “national security.” But while Congress has quietly enabled this, courageous judges all around the country have stood up for the Constitution and struck down some of Trump’s most outrageous actions.

That’s why MAGA has set their sights on the upcoming November PA supreme court race. In a single election, they can knock out 3 Democratic justices all at once, clearing the way for Trump and his cronies to do whatever they want, completely unchecked.

Make no mistake: if we lose here in November, the stage will be set for MAGA’s darkest authoritarian ambitions to come true. The last guardrails keeping Trump in check will be totally removed.
