YARMOUTH - The Maine Department of Transportation will be reducing both northbound and southbound traffic on I-295 to a single lane between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, beginning Sunday, October 12, at 8:00 PM. The lane reduction is necessary to install rumble strips along the highway. The nightwork may be conducted a second evening if necessary. MaineDOT will provide updates on the project as needed.

The contractor on this project is CPM Constructors. The contract amount is $27,566,209.72.
