The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) invites you to our upcoming Community Advocacy Meeting (CAM), a dedicated virtual space to build relationships, share resources, and strengthen our collective efforts to support Tribal communities.
Please join us for our monthly CAM where we strengthen relationships with Tribal Advocates.
This month’s meeting will feature a special panel of female Native founders:
- Dr. Peggy Bird
- Dr. Christina Castro
- Gwen Packard
Together, they will lead a powerful conversation on Cycle Breaking Since 1492, reflecting on leadership, resilience, and advocacy across generations.
About CAM:
Community Advocacy Meetings bring together Tribal Advocates who are committed to community advocacy in alignment with CSVANW’s values of kinship, healing, and inclusiveness. Together, we:
- Uplift Tribal Advocates through tools, training, and policy updates.
- Deepen partnerships between Tribal programs and CSVANW.
- Identify and address barriers to advocacy in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
These meetings have a meaningful impact on Tribal communities by enhancing service delivery, strengthening relationships, and bridging gaps in event support, information sharing, PPE distribution, and training opportunities. Advocates will have a safe virtual space to share challenges and find support from each other and CSVANW, while maintaining survivor confidentiality at all times.
