Next month governments will gather in the Amazon rainforest for the UN climate talks. Decisions on your, my and the planet’s future will be made.

The truth is stark. We’re hurtling into unliveable temperatures and ecosystem collapse. Floods, storms, droughts and wildfires are destroying lives and livelihoods. Millions are being pushed to the edge... or over it.

What we do now will be the difference between someone, somewhere, living or dying. That’s why it’s critical Friends of the Earth is at the talks.

We’re the eyes, ears and voice for the communities who get shut out of negotiations, for our ravaged planet and for you. But without your support we won’t have a voice.

And we know our presence matters. Backed by thousands of our supporters, we achieved landmark wins at previous talks. Like securing “loss and damage” funding for vulnerable countries to help them deal with the impacts of climate breakdown.

We’re not saying we’ll stop climate change at this year’s talks. But every life saved is important. So if you can please say yes to people power with a gift today.

We’re holding it to its promise to protect forests – made at the 2021 talks in Glasgow. And we’re demanding it taxes polluting corporations and the super-rich to finance the future.
