Hi there,
A billionaire and his allies are trying to buy Pennsylvania’s courts. Thousands of PA voters just received glossy mailers stuffed with lies about the Supreme Court justices up for retention this fall.1
Their goal couldn’t be clearer: spread disinformation, confuse voters, and clear the way for cherry-picking judges who will protect their wealth and political agenda. To combat these lies, we need more resources to get the truth out and mobilize pro-environment voters across the state. That means digital campaigns, grassroots organizing, and rapid response campaigns to counter the flood of misinformation.
These are effective tactics, but they’re also expensive. We can’t match the billionaire’s war chest — but with your help, we have something far more powerful: a movement of everyday Pennsylvanians coming together to say ENOUGH.
Will you make a donation today to protect our courts and ensure they serve the people — not just the powerful?

The justices who are up for retention are recommended by the non-partisan PA Bar Association because they have been fair and independent.2 They have a proven track record of defending our rights and protecting our freedoms. - They have upheld our right to clean air and water and held polluters accountable to clean up their mess.3
- They upheld attempts to end vote-by-mail and stopped Trump’s attempt to overturn the election results in 2016.4
-
They ended Pennsylvania’s partisan gerrymandered districts and created fairer maps so all Pennsylvanians are adequately represented.5
Clearly, billionaires will do anything to win because they have everything to gain. They think the rules don’t apply to them: They want gerrymandered districts to keep control of Congress and the state legislature. Votes thrown out and even election results overturned so that their candidates win. Polluters operating without oversight and investments in clean energy thrown out. It’s about seizing more power and getting even richer. But here’s the truth: we’ve beaten them before — and we can again. While billionaires like Jeffrey Yass may have money, we have something stronger: people power. When everyday Pennsylvanians step up, speak out, and refuse to be silenced, we win.
We’re about to launch our voter mobilization program and, with your donation of $10.00, we can reach thousands more voters, answer their questions, and make sure they know how, where, and when to vote.
I’m counting on CVPA’s members like you to help us counter the lies and ramp up our outreach. Pitch in today.

Pennsylvania deserves a fair, independent court system — one that works for all of us, not just the wealthiest few. By standing in solidarity now, we can make sure that our Supreme Court remains a guardian of justice, fairness, and democracy.
Thank you for being part of this fight.
