The conservative-majority Supreme Court closed out a devastating term in June. Now, they’re back – with even bigger cases in front of them.

Team, favorable views of the Supreme Court remain near a historic low. Polling shows that only 14% of Americans say justices are doing a good job of keeping politics out of their decisions. And who can blame them? SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade, gave Donald Trump immunity for his “official acts,” and openly sided with him again and again – handing him unprecedented power, while tying the hands of federal judges who were putting a stop to his most unconstitutional and dangerous Executive Orders.

As the highest court in the land reconvened this week for the first time this term, there are some MAJOR cases on the docket:

Social Security Data: SCOTUS will determine whether DOGE can maintain access to the sensitive personal information of millions of Americans.

Tariffs: SCOTUS will rule on the legality of Trump’s sweeping global tariffs, a high-stakes test of one of his most ambitious assertions of executive power and a cornerstone of his trade agenda.

Education: SCOTUS will rule on Trump’s Executive Order to completely dismantle the Department of Education – one of the last legal challenges possible!

Job Security: SCOTUS will rule on the legality of Trump’s firing of tens of thousands of federal workers, the administration’s push for mass layoffs, and sweeping agency downsizing.
