As a registered nurse, I came to Congress to protect and expand access to affordable health care. 

I'm now in my fourth term, and I've had 19 pieces of legislation signed into law. I’ve helped bring in $1.9 billion (yes, with a b) in funding for our communities. 

I fought to support our community with federal resources and programs to make sure that Northern Illinois has a strong voice in Washington. I will always put that mission first.
