This is insane, John. 

After REFUSING to even negotiate with Democrats, Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican Majorities in the House and Senate have officially shut down the government.

Americans all over the country are suffering because of this dysfunction. Thousands of workers are furloughed. Operations are being disrupted at many essential agencies. Critical programs like SNAP could be suspended. 

But here’s the good news: Democrats are stepping up to hold the line against the GOP’s insanity and fight to protect our healthcare. 

Look, we can’t sit by any longer while MAGA dysfunction, chaos and cruelty harms Americans. 

That’s why I have a plan to put an END to this insanity. Republicans may have their authoritarian Project 2025 agenda, but here’s mine:

Project 2026: Defeat the MAGA Republican Majorities in the House and Senate and win the power to FIGHT BACK against Donald Trump’s authoritarian crusade.

Project 2028: Elect a Democrat for President, and begin the work to make sure a Trump-like White House – one without ZERO regard for the rule of law, due process, and civil rights – never happens again.
