John,

I want to talk to you about our current Health and Human Services Secretary, and why his leadership has me gravely concerned.

When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was nominated to lead the HHS, he promised to use scientific guidance and research to influence his decisions. Yet, from the moment he took office, conspiracy theories and personal agendas have clouded his judgment.

He isn’t offering solutions to health concerns. He isn’t allowing our brilliant researchers to continue their work and find future cures for terrible diseases. And he isn’t making sure our country is prepared for another pandemic or public health crisis.

What he is doing is spreading conspiracy theories that endanger public health, questioning vaccine safety, undermining decades of medical research, and casting doubt on the very experts who work tirelessly to keep our families safe.

I can't be any clearer about this: RFK Jr. is not qualified to lead the HHS. His leadership is the result of an administration that is more focused on political interests than the American people. I’m fighting that idea every single day by supporting honest, for-the-people leaders who won’t let party bosses dictate their ability to do what’s right. If you agree with my mission, chip in $5 today. >> [link removed]

When recently asked about my thoughts on RFK’s leadership, I told the public to listen to their doctors – and our elected officials should be doing the same.

Real, honest leadership means respecting the people who've made it their life's work to study, heal, and protect us. That includes the scientists, the doctors, and the public health experts who follow evidence, not ideology.

As governor, I worry about how the decisions made in Washington will affect all Kentuckians. The Trump Administration’s decision to empower RFK Jr. is downright dangerous for families in Kentucky and across the country .

I formed In This Together PAC to support leaders who will watch out for the health and for the best interests of their people, no matter the politics. If you believe in science, in truth, and in commonsense leadership that puts people first, I need you standing with me, John. Will you chip in to reject partisan politics and help elect for-the-people leaders today? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Gov. Andy Beshear
