The dust has settled on our first big end-of-quarter fundraising push, so I wanted to personally reach out and say thank you. Because of the support of supporters like you, we reached our goal before the FEC deadline, and we’re starting this campaign right.

I also wanted to call out something special.

After crunching the numbers, we found out that the average donation to emails just like this is $34. That’s just incredible.

$34 tells us a lot. It shows that we’re running a campaign truly powered by grassroots support – by people just like you donating to emails like this. And it proves how strong a force we can be when we work together.

But this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint – so I have an ask of you today:

I’m hoping you’ll chip in for the first time to join our movement. Billionaires and corporate special interests are sharply-focused on Sherrod, and they’re going to spend millions against him. Already, thousands of people have donated to help him fight back and win – and now, they’re counting on you to join them.

Will you give $34 to power our grassroots campaign forward, win in Ohio, and send Sherrod to the Senate to fight for working people?
