Above all, today, we must pray for the return of every single hostage from Gaza. We pray for their families to find peace after two long years.
We will never forget October 7th. We will never forget that Hamas started this war, and it is Hamas that holds up peace today.
However, lost in the focus on the painfully long war in Gaza is the vast improvement in Israel’s regional security since October 7. Because of their strength, the Iranian nuclear program is badly damaged, Hezbollah is largely destroyed, Hamas is almost functionally dead, and the Assad regime is gone.
Israel is wise to stay strong despite the world preferring it be weak.
