Fellow American,
I want to speak to you directly this morning — not as “Team Beth,” not as some polished campaign update — but as Beth.
We closed the books on our end-of-quarter deadline. I’ll be honest: we came up short of what my finance team expected.
That stings. Because I know how much was riding on those numbers. Reporters, party insiders, and, yes, even my opponents will dissect our report when it comes out — line by line — and look for weaknesses.
And to make matters worse, we’re now on day 7 of the Democrat shutdown — all because the Left is demanding billions in taxpayer dollars to fund free healthcare for illegal immigrants in places like California, Illinois, and New York while hardworking Texans are left waiting for answers.
You can bet they’ll use this shutdown to score political points — but here in Texas, we’re focused on getting Washington working again for the people who actually pay the bills.
But here’s the truth: campaigns aren’t won or lost in one deadline. They’re won by how we respond. Here’s what I can say, fellow American: I’m not discouraged, and I’m certainly not backing down. If anything, I’m more determined than ever to bounce back, stronger, faster, and louder than the Left could ever imagine. I need your help to make that happen. If we can show a surge today — the very first day of this new quarter — it sends an unmistakable message that our campaign — this district — is still unshakable.
The Left would love to say this campaign is slipping. The same Democrats who caused this shutdown want to paint Republicans as the problem — but we’re the only ones standing up for taxpayers and border security. Let’s prove them wrong.
Thank you,
