California Seaweed Festival

A day-long celebration of art, science, and innovation. Following the film, Simona Augyte of California Sea Grant leads a conversation with Charlie Yarish (UConn), Catherine O’Hare (Sway), Nancy Caruso (Get Inspired), and Lucy Bellwood (Adventure Cartoonist).

The world’s largest culinary film festival brings Seaweed Stories to Canada, where it screens alongside international food and sustainability shorts exploring the intersection of climate, cuisine, and culture.
Seaweed Stories is presented by Lonely Whale in association with Re:wild. The film was made possible through the generous support of executive producers Phillip Sarofim and Trousdale Ventures, MAVRIK, and co-executive producer The Snider Foundation.
