Friend -- Trump has taken his fear of vote-by-mail to new levels recently.

Politico:
"'My biggest risk': Trump says mail-in voting could cost him reelection"

Washington Post:
"Trump claims without evidence that foreign governments will rig U.S. mail-in balloting"


Let's take these claims one by one. First, there is no evidence that mail-in voting benefits one party more than another. If Trump loses it will be because Americans are disgusted by his policies and rhetoric, not because they can vote by mail.

Look, y'all, Trump is going to keep spouting his lies. But it's our job to make sure those lies don't translate into policy -- and we have our work cut out for us on that front. Republicans are planning to spend $20 million to suppress the vote this election year, including by recruiting 50,000 poll watchers to intimidate voters.
