“Freedom of speech isn’t just a right, it’s the foundation of our liberty. Christians must stand up, speak out, and defend our right to share what we believe.”
That’s what Zion Ramos said after learning that his online public high school, Arkansas Connections Academy, had agreed to let him share his faith during an upcoming “social time” Zoom meeting with his classmates.
And he’s right. It is time for people of faith to stand up and defend what matters most.
Your right to express your faith doesn’t end at your schoolhouse gate, your employer’s parking lot or your community’s town square sidewalk.
And when it comes down to it, you must boldly defend that right when it is threatened.
Watch Zion share his story about what happened when he was silenced for sharing his faith during “social time” and why he decided to stand up and speak out.

At First Liberty, we come alongside people like Zion and fight for them when their right to live out their faith is challenged.
John, you are the reason we can do that.
Your prayers and financial support give us the strength and ability to defend religious freedom when and where it is attacked.
And thanks to your support, when we fight, we win.
Some cases like Zion’s are won quickly. Other cases for clients like physician assistant Valerie Kloosterman and Space Force reservist Jace Yarbrough can go on for years.
But whether it takes a demand letter or litigation all the way to the Supreme Court, we have the resolve to fight the good fight for faith, no matter how long it takes.
And we do that without ever sending our clients a bill for our services.
Again, you make that possible.
With major fights at the Supreme Court, Federal Appeals Courts and District Courts all across the nation, we need your help now more than ever.
Will you continue to stand up and defend our First Freedom?
Together, we can win for faith today and secure our liberties for tomorrow.
Yes, I’ll make a gift today »
