Deb was outspent 2:1 in the primary election, so we took a deeper look at where our opponent’s money is coming from. Here’s what we found: a large chunk of our opponent’s funds came from corporations outside the state of Washington.
In the last several months, our opponent has accepted tens of thousands of dollars from out-of-state corporate PACs, including Chevron, Koch, and Marathon Petroleum. She’s backed by big oil and insurance companies who care more about the bottom line than the wellbeing of our communities.
Let’s show these corporations that the Washington legislature can’t be bought. Deb isn’t a career politician. She’s running because she wants to make a positive difference for the people in her community, and she’s focused on lowering costs for working families, expanding access to child care and health care, and protecting our environment.
