John: Pete Hegseth is a danger to our troops, our national security, and our country. I've said it before, and I'll continue to say it until he resigns.

Last week, Secretary Hegseth addressed our military’s top leaders to let them know that the requirement for every position in combat will be returning to the "highest male standard.” Hegseth has repeatedly made it clear that he does not believe men and women can, or should, fight alongside each other:

"I’m straight up just saying we should not have women in combat roles."

As a woman who served in the Air Force, I am appalled at what we're seeing from our leadership. Before Trump took office, women only made up roughly 20% of our military. And it will likely drop as Trump and his Cabinet work overtime to force women out of military combat.

We can't let MAGA Republicans undo decades of progress, John. I took an oath to uphold and defend this country and fight for what's right – and that includes making sure Pete Hegseth resigns. But I can't do it alone.

Please, will you join me and sign my petition to demand that Pete Hegseth resign his post as Secretary of Defense? Our country, and our troops, deserve better.
