For the past several years, FNUSA has been engaged in an intentional, thoughtful and comprehensive process to become an anti-racist and anti-oppressive organization, a journey we remain deeply committed to advancing.
Over the past year, the Board has partnered with Jean and Karen to thoughtfully examine and envision a leadership structure of FNUSA that supports this vision. This leadership transition to a co-executive director model reflects that journey, ensuring our structure embodies collaboration, shared power, and equity.
The Board is excited to have Karen Romero at the helm alongside Jean, as of October 1, 2025.
