Email from Sub Querco Naïveté on Full Display! Nick De Gregorio: When Naïveté Collides with Blind Ambition To New Jersey Voters, We all saw it this past Friday during the WPIX Gubernatorial forum: less than 15 seconds into Mikie Sherrill answering her very first question, she pivoted to Nick De Gregorio’s blunder that had nothing to do with the race. It was a rookie mistake that even caused a cease and desist order to be filed against, and a error that never should have overshadowed the important issues at stake in this race. Thankfully, Jack Ciattarelli was able to respond, making it perfectly clear he had no involvement whatsoever. Unfortunately however, Bergen blunders and missteps like Nick's have become the County norm. From allegations of extortion, violations of election law, and theft of campaign materials, the current leadership team of Jack DeLorenzo and Margaret Frontera (who not surprisingly, has been a long-time supporter of Nick), haven't won a single county race in nearly 14 years! "Birds of a feather", as they say! Fortunately, Jack was able to speak to the only thing in this race that really matters: how he's going to fix New Jersey. This election is about Jack's vision and the real opportunity we have to put New Jersey back on track with strong, experienced leadership. Speaking to the critical issues, Jack was able to lay out the following: Jack’s plans are exactly what New Jersey needs. He’s committed to restoring law, order, and respect for law enforcement. That means repealing the Immigrant Trust Directive and putting an end to Sanctuary Cities. Jack will also close the dangerous loopholes in “Bail Reform” that let violent and repeat offenders walk free. He knows how vital our police and firefighters are, which is why he’ll restore cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) to their pensions and guarantee those benefits are protected, now and in the future. When it comes to housing, Jack supports affordable options - but not at the expense of every community’s character or the environment. He opposes the mandates that forces overdevelopment in towns unequipped to handle it, leading to lost open space, more flooding, higher taxes, and worse traffic and pollution. Jack’s approach is about smart, sustainable growth—not one-size-fits-all solutions. Jack will create the Garden State Transportation Authority, bringing together NJ Transit, the Turnpike Authority, and the South Jersey Transportation Authority under one streamlined, accountable leadership team. This means better service, less waste, and planning for the future. Jack’s energy policy is all about making life affordable and practical for New Jersey families. He’ll overhaul the Energy Master Plan to support an all-of-the-above approach, rolling back costly mandates on electric vehicles and home appliances that make life more expensive for working people. He’ll also ban offshore wind farms along our coastline and withdraw New Jersey from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), putting affordability and common sense first. Jack Ciattarelli and Sherriff Jim Gannon are the strongest candidates the GOP has put forward in years. They've got the experience, to tackle the critical issues, and the drive to deliver real results for New Jersey. But to make that happen, we have to be disciplined and focused. The stakes are too high to let careless mistakes from wanna-be operatives, drag us off course. If Nick's actions have proven anything, it's that one careless misstep by an overzealous operative can derail the conversation and distract voters from what truly matters. Amateur hour is over! Jack Ciattarelli isn’t just the best person we’ve got - he’s the honest leader New Jersey needs right now. He’s got the grit, the vision, and the experience to put our state back on track and show the rest of the country what real, responsible leadership looks like. If we want the Garden State to thrive again, Jack is the answer. Let’s get behind him and do this for New Jersey. Frank Pallotta '20, '22 Republican House Candidate, NJ05 Wall Street Veteran Frank T.
