John, I'll be quick.
I know it's been a little while since you've heard from our
campaign, but I'm writing to you today because I think of you as one
of our most loyal supporters.
We're no longer in campaign mode, but with everything going on in
our country, the fight to defeat Donald Trump is more important than
ever, and we need your help.
In less than 48 hours, our team will officially launch a new
organization, The Bravery Project,
and I'd love to count you among its earliest supporters.
We're working to give voice to regular Americans, not political
insiders, because you're the ones who are going to make a difference
in defeating Trump and his enablers this November.
Here's the ask: Can you reply directly to this email
and share with us how you're going to be brave between now and
November?
It might be as simple as committing to knock on the doors of
everyone who lives on your street. Maybe it's a promise to share your
honest assessment of Trump with other moms in your kids' playgroup or
with other dads in a scouting troop. Maybe it's a commitment to
phone-banking against Trump. We want to know what you plan to do, and
we want to feature your efforts as we launch The Bravery Project on
Wednesday.
The point is, we've all got to do more than just oppose Trump's
corruption--we need to be out there, in each of our communities,
actively getting our friends and family and neighbors involved in this
cause. It's going to take all of us.
John — It would mean so much to me if you'd add your voice to our
new effort. I already know your bravery, and I'm in admiration of it
every day.
Please reply directly to this
email letting us know what you're going to do to Be
Brave.
As a token of my thanks, if you reply
to this email with your story of how you're going to work to defeat
Trump, my team will send you a commemorative "Be Brave" wrist band
later this month.
We've got our work cut out for us!
